Ivy, Ivy, Ivy Your name symbolises so many different things … but the one meaning I like the best is … (It won’t easily let go of something it’s attached itself to) and eternal life (because the leaf is evergreen)! I have to say this just about sums us up. From the first time I met you as Yvonne’s Mum (school days) there was an instant connection between us, even from that young age over 50+ years ago. I saw you as a second Mum, you were my ‘Safe’ place growing up where I could share my secrets without worrying, where I would visit you as an adult and have a laugh/natter etc. Over the years we have been through Happy and Sad times together and then of course our little rituals Your Birthday/Christmas/Easter/Mother’s Day (You know what these were )😊 – I shall miss them You were one of the most fiercely independent women that I have had the pleasure to know, you were always full of positivity, I loved your cheeky side and am thankful for all the lessons you taught and I have learnt from you. I know you will have eternal life as you rest in Paradise with those that have gone before you – Sleep well my darling and don’t give those Angels too much trouble. Love you always and miss you so much already ☹ May you Rest in Peace in Rise in Glory.
